Proposal
The Tech Gathering is an opportunity to meet people face-to-face who are involved in developing technology as a tool for social change. People from everywhere will be able to discuss technical aspects of diferent projects.
As a specific meeting between volunteers from groups that already work together in any form, or have some common needs, the focus of discussion will be the existing or desired tools for those groups. This gathering differs radically from a traditional meeting like the Free Software Forum or a debate regarding technology using and social change: it is an opportunity for groups to meet the developers of tools they are using.
