1. We switched to and "informal mode" as just a few people attended the meeting.
2. About invitations
   1. There were some groups at 2007InvitedParticipants that were already invited but not tagged as such. Then we tagged then. Anyway we can send a final announcement some days before the local meetings.
   2. Rhatto and Elisa are going to get the contacts of the remaining groups and send the invitation. If someone else wants to help on this task, just contact then. - Done
3. How organization is going (locally)
   1. Berlin - 13 and 14 oct - using the 13 for preparing presentations and doing the talk, and 14 for making the video conference (looking for location now, as soon as they find it they will send another invitation to local groups)
   2. Sao Paulo - for sao paulo we're thinking in make 3 meetings before each teleconference
   3. Venezuela - we proposed the 21 to 28 january 2008 as a date to techmeet it's posible to do a video stream in caracas
   4. San Francisco -> we will have a video exibition on the 13 - and follow the conferences during the 3 sundays - 14, 21, 28 - till now
   5. Rio de Janeiro -> we're thinking in make a meetings in rio de janeiro too,maybe 20-21/10, but there are fews ppl
   6. nl -> seen many interested individuals (in different groups) interested, not seen people stepping up to organise stuff. 13.14 there will be foss conference in .nl where probably some of those people will go anyways.
   7. Brasilia -> just for the record: in brasilia there is no planning on having a local meeting. but many people will be on the free radio meeting.
   8. Goiania -> 13/14 the free radio meeting will be happening in the city at those days, some people will be there so they are thinking of having a meeting there.
4. Sundays Conferences Time:
   1. Sao Paulo 3pm
   2. San Francisco 11am
   3. German/NL 8pm
5. Voip/streaming research
   1. Report backs from research:
      1. ekiga -> is hard because we will have to use their server :/ and i am not sure how the quality will be with lots of ppl on in a conference - althought, micah said riseup has an asterisk server (that needs work) and if it is set up by the time we will have the conferences we could use it
      2. quicktime streaming server test. if you have a mac, it is very easy to get it running. you can use the darwin server and the qt broadcaster and it will stream with a 5-8 seconds delay on a LAN. I triedto get the darwin server running on linux, but did not had any luck.
   2. how the conference will work:after the reporst we start a discussion about how would be the best way to organize the conference and tools to use it. The idea we came up with was to have (better explainned at: [link to how to conference]:
      1. at first people will join irc, because it will be the place where we will coordinate everything (who will be talking at what time etc)
      2. audio stream -> each location will have audio streamm - this should be organized and tested before the conference!! - they should tested it and leave the link they will use for their stream at the day of the conference on the 'cities table' at [link to the page].
      3. video -> people are encourage to work at any kind of video/image sharing, so we can see each others!! use webcams/video stream/!! anything you can do and past the info on [link to the video page]
