- To-do items from the meeting
- Write & translate invitation e-mails to selected recipients as well as generic recipients. Rhatto & Ryan will bottom-line this.
- Add a techmeet announcement mailing list on sarava. Rhatto has done this -> https://listas.sarava.org/wws/info/techmeet-announce
- Propaganda - take a look at the existing flyer and add new text, maybe work on design. Foz & Toya will bottom-line this.
- Begin getting together commitments from local techmeet groups to hold events and participate on the virtual conferences. To begin:
- Ryan/Toya will bottom line the San Francisco group, which has already started discussing what they'll do and getting the participation of local groups.
- Guido will coordinate with hm2007 in Santiago and build a techmeet space within it.
- Zapata will coordinate an Amsterdam and/or Germany event and get local people participating on the virtual conferences.
- Rhatto proposed several gatherings within Brazil... SP/Rio, Goiania/Brasilia, possibly a third in the north.
- Kwadronaut will explore the possibilities of events in Brussels/Liege, Dijon (France) and Italy.
- Instantiate the 2007 Cities List on the wiki, including contact information for the temporary organizing groups. Ryan will bottom-line this.
- Begin investigating infrastructure for the audio/video conferencing. Occam & Rhatto, with help from Ryan, Toya, Membrana.
- Begin a discussion on the techmeet organizing list about the areas of focus for this year (cms, tech collective cooperation, etc). Ryan will send this email in en/es/pt.
- Send an e-mail to the list about consolidating the wikis. Ryan will send.
