We want Techmeet to meet face-to-face as much as possible and be located in places where people from developing nations can meet (i.e. the United States, with all of its visa BS, is -not- included).
But we want to be realistic. We can't afford to go to Latin America every year! So, Techmeet is face-to-face on even years and "distributed" on odd years. By distributed, we mean that individual Techmeet events are set up in cities all over the world and we meet virtually via video and audio conferencing.
